Maybe you remember that I invited to a musical reading of my graphic novel adaption of H.G. Wells’ THE WAR OF THE WORLDS (Egmont) in September last year? We’ll do that again! On February 24, 4 pm, at the Advent-Kirche (Advent church) in the Danziger Straße 201 in Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg you can enjoy a presentation of the comic book, that comes along with music that has been especially written by Jörg Walter for this event : While I am reading passages from the graphic novel and the pictures are presented on a screen, he is playing music that accompanies the action. Imagine a silent movie presentation with music, that goes in the same direction!
In the second part of the evening I am presenting how I adapted the H.G. Wells book into a graphic novel and you can get a signed copy at the book table by the gorgeous Berlin comic shop MODERN GRAPHICS.
