As a rule, the website can be used without providing personal data. As far as personal data (e.g. name or e-mail address) is collected on our website, this is always done on a voluntary basis, as far as possible. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent.

I would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. communication by e-mail) can have security gaps. A complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

Subscription to the e-mail newsletter

If you register for our e-mail newsletter, we will regularly send you information about our activities and updates on our job skills, illustrative projects and works in progress. The only mandatory information we are asking you for during the double opt-in subscription process is your e-mail address, in order to be able to sending it out to you. Providing further data is voluntary and is used to be able to address you personally. As mentioned above, we use the so-called double opt-in procedure to send the newsletter. This means that we will only send you an e-mail newsletter if you have expressly confirmed to us that you consent to receiving the newsletter. We will then send you a confirmation email asking you to click on a link to confirm that you wish to receive the newsletter in the future.

By activating the confirmation link, you give us your consent to the use of your personal data in accordance with Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR (EU General Data Protection Regulation). When you register for the newsletter, we save your IP address entered by the Internet Service Provider (ISP) as well as the date and time of registration in order to be able to trace possible misuse of your e-mail address at a later point in time. The data collected by us when registering for the newsletter is used exclusively for advertising purposes by way of the newsletter. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the link provided for this purpose in the newsletter or by sending a message to the person responsible mentioned above. After you have unsubscribed, your e-mail address will be deleted immediately from our newsletter distribution list, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to use data beyond this, which is permitted by law and about which we will inform you in this declaration.

Newsletter dispatch via CleverReach

Our e-mail newsletter is sent via the technical service provider CleverReach GmbH & Co. KG, Mühlenstr. 43, 26180 Rastede (“CleverReach”), to whom we pass on the data you provided when registering for the newsletter. This transfer takes place in accordance with Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR and serves our legitimate interest in using an effective, secure and user-friendly newsletter system. The data you enter for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter (e.g. email address) will be stored on the CleverReach servers in Germany or Ireland.

CleverReach uses this information to send and statistically evaluate the newsletter on our behalf. For the evaluation, the newsletters sent by e-mail contain so-called web beacons or tracking pixels, which represent one-pixel image files that are stored on our website. In this way it can be determined whether a newsletter message has been opened and which links, if any, have been clicked on. With the help of so-called conversion tracking, it can also be analyzed whether a previously defined action (e.g. purchase of a product on our website, if there is a shop system installed, which is presently not) took place after clicking on such links. Technical information is also recorded (e.g. time of retrieval (the access time to information on our website), IP address, browser type and operating system). The data is collected exclusively in pseudonymised form and is not linked to your other personal data; direct personal reference is excluded. This data is used exclusively for the statistical analysis of newsletter campaigns. The results of these analyzes can be used to better adapt our future newsletters to the interests of its recipients.

If you wish to object to the data analysis for statistical evaluation purposes, you must unsubscribe from the newsletter.

We have concluded a contract with CleverReach for customer data processing appropriate to the GDPR (EU General Data Protection Regulation), with which we oblige CleverReach to protect the data of our customers during the technical processing and dispatch of the e-mail newsletter, and to not pass it on to third parties.
