We are looking forward to seeing you on February 21st 2024 at 5 pm at a new reading concert for my graphic novel 20,000 MILES UNDER THE SEA (Carlsen Comics) in the Literaturhaus Rostock!
Come with us to Jules Verne’s fantastic underwater world! While the images from the graphic novel roll before your eyes, I read the dialogue from the comic and our musician Jörg Walter plays live music especially arranged and composed to let Captain Nemo’s adventures come alive!
Afterwards, I will give insights into the work of a comic artist and how I worked on the graphic novel in a small workshop report, and I will be happy to sign your copies of the book.
The reading is intended for ages 12 and up. But I can tell you that, in our experience, even smaller children cope well with the reading, which is an abridged version of the content of the graphic novel (it has to, otherwise we’d need 8 hours! But the reading with music is about 45 minutes).

A a new reading concert of my graphic novel 20,000 LEAGUES UNDER THE SEA (Carlsen Comics) is coming up! On Monday, July 3rd, at 5:30 p.m., the musician Jörg Walter and I will be giving a musical reading at the very 1st edition of the Pfälzer Comicsalon!

At this event, we’ll take you on a fantastic underwater ‘world tour’ based on my adaption of Jules Vernes beloved classic: while the images from the graphic novel are playing before your eyes, I will read excerpts from the comic to live music improvisations by Jörg and we’ll let the adventures of Captain Nemo and his passengers come alive for you! Afterwards I give a small report (with pictures) about how I worked on the graphic novel, by that giving insights into the work of a comic book artist, and will be happy to sign your book :). There will be a book table, too, where you can get your copy of the graphic novel!

So off to Gönnheim! There’s a wine fest, too, at that time… ;).

On Saturday, March 4th, at 4 p.m., the musician Jörg Walter and I will be giving a musical reading as part of the lit.kid.COLOGNE in the wonderful Volksbühne am Rudolfplatz in Cologne!
