Robin Gosens: Soccer Player

Becoming a professional soccer player is something many children dream of. Robin Gosens, player of the German national soccer team, tells his own personal story here for children (age 6+), and not only gives valuable insights into his rise to stardom, but also many tips for being a successful soccer player, whether big or small!

I created four-color illustrations for this book – partly based on Robin’s personal collection – and a cover (image 2). The illustration work was preceded by studies of the main character in the book, which had to be heavily based on Gosens himself (in various stages of age), as well as his very personal playing technique (image 3 and 4).
