Heyho – I’m really looking forward to giving a reading concert for 20,000 LEAGUES UNDER THE SEA live on YouTube on October 15th at 11 a.m. as part of the online reading festival “Frederick Day 2024”! And the best thing is: EVERYONE can take part and watch, there are no limitations! You can head directly to the reading via this link:
My reading, which will be in German, starts at 11 a.m., and there are lots of other great authors reading on that day, like Jasmin Schaudinn and Frank Maria Reifenberg, with whom I collaborated on LENNY AMONG GHOSTS, which recently has been published in English by Amazon Crossing Kids.
In the reading concert, I will take you into the fantastic underwater world of Jules Verne: While the pictures from the graphic novel run before your eyes, I will read scenes from the comic live to the music of Jörg Walter and bring the adventures of Captain Nemo to life for you!
The event will conclude with a Q&A and a short workshop report that will give insights into the work of a comic artist and my work on 20,000 LEAGUES UNDER THE SEA especially. I look forward to seeing you on the other side of the monitor! Turn it on!
